Special
Occasion Deliveries
We utilize Federal Express Drivers for all of our deliveries.
When a future date order is placed, we first
look up the transit time from our location to the destination.
Keep in mind that date shipped does not count as a transit day, so
if we see that your destination is a 2 day ship and needs to
arrive on a Thursday, we will ship on Tuesday of that week. We are extremely pleased
with the job that our Federal Express Driver's do, however,
occasionally things can happen to delay your special arrival.
1. If you are shipping your gift to your spouse or loved one at
their place of employment, the drivers are not permitted to wander
through the building and deliver your gift directly to the
recipient. What they are allowed to do, is to leave the gift in a
secure "receiving" area which, depending on the size of the
company, can be anything from the Receptionist to the
Mail/Shipping Room. From this point on, delivery is out of our
hands and in SOME cases it can take another half to full day for
the gift to actually reach the employee's desk.
2. We cannot control the time of day of your delivery, it
will be arranged according to the route of the Fed Ex driver in
your area on that day and will be dependent on how many stops and
how many other packages are also being delivered. 3. If
you are shipping to an apartment complex, Fed Ex drivers have the
option of leaving your gift at the door unless you specify to us
that you need a signature on the package. This service costs
an additional $2.50. We would strongly suggest that you ask for
this option.
4. If you are shipping to a school, please see our
special instructions regarding
school deliveries.
5. There can occasionally be weather delays, train
derailments, or other obstacles
between our location and the destination of your gift. We cannot
offer refunds if gifts are delayed for reasons beyond our control.
