Gifts for the
Mothers of the Bride and Groom
There are actually three important ladies
in the wedding. The bride (of course) but also the mother of the
bride and the mother of the groom. These are the two women that gave birth
to the "main participants" and
without them the wedding would not have been possible. Recognizing
them in a special way to thank them for all that they have done is a
thoughtful gesture and will be remembered for years to come.
We suggest sending them each a “Mother of the Bride”
 and “Mother of
the Groom” Chick Kit. Each “kit” arrives in a whimsically decorated
box with the appropriate label (Mother of the Bride, Mother of the
Groom) and when they remove the lid, inside they will find a
plethora of items that will make them feel special: Disposable
wedding camera for snapping pictures of special moments, wedding
dress notepad for those important details that
they need to handle, ball point pen disguised as a tube of lipstick,
whimsical sugar cookies (to keep their energy up), wedding themed

When is the appropriate time to deliver these gifts? Well, there are
several times that would be really special. The first would be when
you make “your announcement” that you’ve set a date. Sending the
kits to arrive as you announce your news (or immediately afterwards)
is a nice touch. Or, how about purchasing two to hand out at your
bridal shower? They’ll never expect gifts for themselves on this day
and what a lovely way to show them both how important they are to
